1910 Dutch Colonial Remodel 2016

A project that included bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and trim work. What started as a master suite project expanded to include restoring plaster walls throughout the house, adding trim elements to give rooms depth and character, kitchen alterations and mechanical updates.

New granite countertops, backsplash, and well as new floors and additional cabinets help shape the existing kitchen into a more useful work space.

Creating a new bathroom on the second story came with all the usual challenges that old houses present, but the finished product was worth it. The custom vanity was built by Simple Integrity's Jon Edgington, matching mirrors and medicine cabinet by Simple Integrity's Mike Boyle. The Schluter Ditra heated tile floor keeps the room toasty. Light tile shades contrast with the vanity to bring balance to the room.
